Cain Hoy has won Residential Financier of the Year at the prestigious RESI Awards 2016, organised by industry trade magazine Property Week.
The award was presented in front of an audience from the property sector at a ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane. The long established RESI Awards are widely regarded as one of the most respected real estate industry awards, celebrating and rewarding the achievements of individuals and companies who have significantly contributed to the UK residential property market. Judges were impressed by Cain Hoy’s involvement in several deals, including leading a consortium of investors to finance The Stage, a £750 million mixed-use scheme in Shoreditch, securing a £190 million development facility to finance the £400 million 4.5-acre Islington Square, a mixed-use development in the centre of Islington, and buying the 19-acre The Peruvian Wharf site in the Royal Docks for a £500m residential-led project in joint venture with Galliard Homes.
Jonathan Goldstein, Cain Hoy’s Head of European Investments, said:
“We are exceptionally proud to receive this award, which is a reflection of the hard work, ingenuity and dedication of the Cain Hoy team and its particular expertise as a financier to the residential property sector.”
